This is the book received the HUH. Magazine's praise as "a highly accomplished publication" in their review in 2010.

Sleepwalk is Zheng Yaohua's debut photo book, which was published in 2009 by good morning light, an independent publisher in Beijing, China. The photographs, selected from Zheng's work of 2003-2007, were poetically sequenced and turn out to be a silent journey across New York City. HUH described the result.
Throughout the book we're taken in a trance-like state around a dream filled New York City. When we arrive everything is silent, people move around us without making a noise. No one looks us in the eye, no one even notices we're there. Strange things are happening, dozens of people cross the street dressed as angels and no one bats an eyelid. After wandering through the secret areas of Manhattan, Queens and Brooklyn we go down to the subway and embark on a silent journey out to the sea. With long shadows on the sandy beach, we wake up before sunset. - HUH., 2010
