In May of 2005, Wang Yiqun took some snapshots of dioramas in a casual visit to a museum devoted to the ended mining history of an out-of-the-way town in Nevada. Five years later, in 2010, a crime-fiction-ish photo-novel created with these snapshots and the additional text was published. By this book and its producing, the Chinese writer and photographer shows us his great interest in a chain of rings of simulation and fiction.
This is the English language version of An Ordinary Assault Case, translated from Chinese by Fang Wang and Lulu Liu.
