After the Chinese version releasing, For Screenplay was reedited, relay-outed and redesigned by the artist himself, and was published as an English version. Cao Mengqin, the Shanghai based Chinese artist has talked about his work:
[For Screenplay] constructed a non-existed narrative screenplay technically as the same as the non-fictional novel but rather more privately record which was based on the personal experience in reality than historical writing which lied on the way of visual expression.----------
